Of Rain and Romance: A Moody Flaxmere House Love Story

Embarking on a modern love story, Jennifer and Shane's journey unfolded through the digital corridors of online dating, ultimately leading them to a picturesque haven at Bethells Beach in West Auckland for their wedding.

Joined by my second shooter Cassey, we ventured into the embrace of the Waitākere Ranges, discovering the enchanting Flaxmere House - a harmonious blend of luxury and homely warmth, the perfect tapestry for their union. Despite the moody weather, raindrops weaving through the air, the bright, covered ceremony area provided a romantic space for Jennifer and Shane to exchange heartfelt vows in the company of their nearest and dearest.

As the day unfolded with intermittent rain, we embraced the challenge and seized the breaks in the weather to venture onto the dunes, beach, and surrounding wetlands for their couple's portraits. The elements choreographed a dance with Jennifer's dress, the wind lending its grace to create stunning, windswept captures, adding a lovely touch of drama.
