Traditional wedding vibes at historic Woodlands Estate

After a beautiful couple's shoot in Raglan with Shayna and Regan earlier this year, I had been looking forward to photographing their wedding. Following the wild and windy coastal vibe of their first shoot, their wedding at Woodlands Estate would be a little different: The period details of the venue's Homestead, restored to its former glory, gave a classic feel to the day.

The fantastic looking couple and their entourage were lucky enough with some well timed breaks in the showers that day, and were able to go ahead with an outdoor ceremony on the spacious lawn area, with the sun even peeking through the cloud cover!

The gardens surrounding the property were perfect to stroll around for photos with the bridal party, with a hamper for some drinks and nibbles while their guests got to enjoy this in the courtyard area with some lawn games.

It was such fun filled day. All the good laughs made me feel included in the festivities and it was a joy to be part of their celebrations!
